Engine 1, Tanker 2 and Utility 3 responded. On scene personnel from 520 already had the knock.
Personnel assisted with T.I.C. to check for fire extension with none found and also mop up. All 50
units released by 520 OIC. Returned available.

Dispatched for a residential CO alarm. Engine 1 responded, on scene no patients, SCBA personnel
metered the residence with no readings, determined to be a dead battery. All 50 units returned
available.

extension with none found. Returned available.

Dispatched for smoke in a structure at the Freedom Chrysler Dodge building. Assisting were
companies from Stations 58,55,62,40 (RIC assignment) and Indiana 520. Rescue 4 responded, on
scene reporting heavy smoke showing, working fire in the basement. Personnel made entry with a 1
¾” CAFS line made the attack with a quick knock. E-582 laid into scene from hydrant on Mosscreek
Rd. to supply Rescue 4 if needed. E-521 staged at hydrant on route 219 to supply S-583 if needed,
S-583 staged on B-side of the structure. E-552 staged on A-side of structure, personnel from E-552
made entry into second floor for ventilation and to check for any fire extension. T-627 staged on the
A/D side of the structure. Overhaul completed, all units released with the exception of Rescue 4.
Rescue 4 remained on scene available to assist PSP fire marshal. Cause was ruled undetermined.
Returned available.

responded. Utility 3 returned available, SERVICES NOT NEEDED. Tanker 2 remained on scene,

20 gallons of gasoline spilled. Spill contained to parking lot. Personnel cleaned spill. Returned
available.

Dispatched for a structure fire assisted by stations 58, 55 and 40 (RIC assignment). Rescue 4 and
Engine 1 responded, enroute call upgraded to a working structure fire. Rescue 4 on scene reporting
heavy fire conditions on the first floor. Crew from Rescue 4 knocked down first floor with 1 ¾” CAFS
line from exterior and made entry for fire attack on second floor. Additional personnel covered
exposure on B side of structure with 1 ¾” CAFS line. Interior crew completed knockdown. Crews
from 55 and 58 assisted with overhaul operations and ventilation. E-582 laid to supply Rescue 4.

Dispatched for MVA no injuries. Rescue 4 and Utility 3 responded. On scene, one vehicle driving
north bound hit a parked car. Provided traffic control and cleanup of debris and fluids from the
roadway. PSP on scene. Returned available.

Assisted EMS with patient extrication. Provided traffic control and cleanup of debris and fluids from

Stations 520 and 59 requested for brush trucks. All 55,58 and 40 units cancelled. Brush trucks on
scene, fire extinguished Engine 1 staged at hydrant on Municipal and Hillcrest to assist with tank fill
of brush trucks. Returned available.

Activated for a commercial fire alarm at Tri County Transportation Building. Engine 1 responded, on
scene found to be burnt food. All units returned available.

On Scene one SCBA personnel along with water employee with SCBA made entry to shut off 2 – 150lb
chlorine tanks. Waited approximately 30min. with ventilation performed, 2 – SCBA personnel made
entry to check for leaks in tanks with ammonia, nothing found. System and tanks turned back on, fire
personnel waited approximately 30min. alarm did not reactivate, advised water employees if alarm went
off again to notify 911 immediately.

fire or smoke, structure checked with T.I.C. problem found to be in the hot water tank, all power shut off
to tank owner advised to contact plumber.
